Assistant panel
Open and close
Section titled “Open and close”Click Assistant in the Blueprint toolbar, or press Alt+P while the mouse is over the graph. The panel appears inside the graph’s lower-left corner, preserving the editor’s side columns.
Click the title to collapse or expand the contents. X hides the panel; the toolbar button or Alt+P reopens it. It follows the active graph view and hides when you move to another editor tab.
Resize with the mouse
Section titled “Resize with the mouse”Drag the ↗ grip at the top-right of the panel:
- Right/up increases the size.
- Left/down decreases the size.
- The lower-left corner stays anchored to the graph.
The preferred size is saved for the current user and project when you release the mouse. Closing, reopening, or collapsing the panel preserves it. When the graph becomes smaller, the panel fits inside the available space without replacing the saved preference.
The minimum expanded size is 220 × 120 logical units when the graph has room. Scroll the content if you make the panel small. Resizing does not clear active highlights or a trace.
Controls
Section titled “Controls”During compatibility inspection, use Previous, Source, and Next to navigate. During tracing, use the two endpoint cards to focus nodes or follow wires.
Options / shortcuts shows feature toggles and shortcut hints. Settings… opens the full preferences. See every setting.
