Compatibility & limits
Supported target
Section titled “Supported target”| Item | Current target |
|---|---|
| Unreal Engine | 5.8; candidate validated on 5.8.3 |
| Operating system | Windows / Win64 |
| Module | Editor only |
| Graphs | Standard Blueprint K2 graphs |
| External services | None required |
Other engine minor versions, macOS, and Linux are not currently claimed as supported.
Inspection and editing
Section titled “Inspection and editing”Scanning, highlighting, tracing, and navigation do not create nodes or change connections. Making a connection still uses Unreal’s standard operation. Direct compatibility can require replacement of an existing wire.
Graph boundaries
Section titled “Graph boundaries”Wire tracing stays in the current graph. It follows physical links one step at a time and keeps data and execution paths separate. It is not a runtime debugger and does not automatically enter functions or macros.
Visibility and drawing
Section titled “Visibility and drawing”Hidden and orphaned pins are not visually highlighted. Navigation does not expand collapsed advanced-pin sections. Other plugins that supply a connection drawing policy for the same graph may prevent these visualizations from appearing.
Material graphs and custom drawing schemas are outside the current supported scope.
Performance
Section titled “Performance”Analysis runs synchronously on the editor thread. The debug scan action can generate substantial logs and pause briefly on very large graphs. No performance benchmark or graph-size guarantee is claimed.
